What's Japanese styling grooming?
It's straightforward. We aim to transform your furry friend into the most adorable stuffed toy. Japanese pet care is a rising trend in the pet grooming sector that seeks to render your pet resembling a plush toy or teddy bear. We avoid excessive shaving (unless absolutely necessary) and prefer maintaining a luxuriant coat, which can prolong the grooming process compared to other pet grooming establishments.

What make us different ?
For us to provide this fancy artistic cute look, providing a good bath & blow out becomes very important. We hand-dry them & straight out the coat (yes, just like humans) fluff them up to give some volume to its coat. That way, we can create that perfect round muzzle, round face & ears.

Why aren't our grooming fees consistent?
The cost varies based on the size of your dog, its breed, the texture of its fur, the length of the fur, and the type of styling you ask for. Every dog is unique, and each owner has their own preferences for how they want their dog's hair styled. That's why our prices are tailored to each individual pet and customer.

What's the duration of the grooming service?
Our service is provided on a drop-off schedule. Pet owners can anticipate leaving their pet with us for a duration of 3 to 4 hours for a bath and haircut, with larger dogs requiring additional time. The process of bathing and brushing will generally take 1.5 to 3 hours. It's important to note that the dematting service may extend the duration of the grooming session. For those seeking a quicker grooming experience, we recommend requesting for the first appointment at 8:00 AM.

Is it possible to have my dog's grooming done without putting it in kennel?
Absolutely! We term it a "straight-through" service, but it's available only at our first appointment time. The groomer can begin as soon as you arrive in the morning, and we'll give you a call 20 minutes prior to completion so you can return to our salon. However, please remember that if you're not back when we say they'll have to wait inside the kennel, so it's best to stay close by.

Can you groom matted dogs?
I can't give a definite response without first inspecting your furry friend's situation. However, we can inform you during their drop-off if the tangles can be easily brushed out or not. Just keep in mind that we charge $20 per 15 mins for dematting fee added on to the grooming service. If the tangles are severe, we might suggest a very short haircut, similar to a summer shave.

Do you have to use FLEA/TICK SHAMPOO if my pooch has fleas or ticks?
YES. Normal shampoo does not kill the flea(s) or tick(s) that is on your pooch so we HAVE to use the flea/tick shampoo to prevent those insects to transfer to other client's pets. Please understand that there will be $15-$25 charge as soon as we spot them. We usually call the owner to notify the extra charge but the flea charge is non-negotiable.

Can you just provide a haircut only? I recently bathed my dog at home.
Unfortunately, we do NOT offer any type of haircut service if bathing service is not done at our salon by our professionals. The techniques we use to fluff them during the grooming session plays a big role in the quality of the haircut we provide.

Can I stay and watch you groom my dog?

Since your pup tends to get overly thrilled upon seeing you and poses a risk with our use of extremely sharp instruments, we kindly request that you only visit our salon upon receiving a phone call or text message that indicates your pet is prepared. Please avoid coming in too soon and encountering your pet on the table, ensuring your pet doesn't catch sight of you. Doing so might result in harm to your pet.

When is your last appointment?

What if I can't make the appointment?

We do charge $30 for not showing up or last minute cancellation. Please give us at least 24 hours notice to avoid the fee.

What if I can't pick up my dog before closing time?

We understand things happen, but if we tried contacting you number of times and it has past our closing time, we do charge late pick up fee of $1 per minute. If you are running behind, please contact our store immediately.
